Wear eye-catching tee-shirts saying "Troops Home Now!" and stroll through the busy Hillsdale Mall! A unique and creative opportunity to reach out to thousands of people in the holiday season with a message about creating real peace on earth -- now!
This will be a powerful message to shoppers to act on their beliefs that the war must end. We need as many sign-ups as possible to make this a noticeable effort that also gets into the local media. Please make every effort to attend. For more information, and to order your tee-shirt ($5 minimum donation), contact the Peninsula Peace & Justice Center. If you email, confirm how many shirts, what sizes, and which stroll you are going to attend (Moratorium Mall Strolls are also taking place at the Standford Mall in Palo Alto and the Plaza de César Chávez in San José.)

Meet in the Bank of America parking lot, 29th and El Camino Real, San Mateo, at 6 PM to pick up tee-shirts. We will eat together at California Pizza Kitchen before heading into the mall.

Iraq Moratorium Mall Walkers Confront Marine Recruiters

Mall Walkers for Peace including members of San Mateo Peace Action, Declaration of Peace, Veterans for Peace, San Mateo Democracy for America and the Raging Grannies strolled the Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo California where they were greeted by many folks pleased with the message on their t-shirts: Troops Home Now!
***Members of SMDFA and the Raging Grannies met MARINE RECRUITERS under the holly and mistletoe at the Mall's Central Christmas Display***
Iraq Moratorium participants took care to avoid be ousted by Hillsdale Mall security by posing as shoppers.
