Join us on Iraq Moratorium Day in support of our brothers and sisters in Berkeley who shut down the Marine Recruitment Center and Berkeley's City Council resolution stating that military recruiters were not welcome in Berkeley to recruit soldiers for the illegal war in Iraq.

The sponsors of this event included the Los Angeles Iraq Moratorium, Coalition for World Peace, Code Pink - LA, Frank Dorrel/Addicted to War, World Can't Wait - LA, and ANSWER-LA. The Los Angeles Iraq Moratorium and Coalition for World Peace carried a large banner that read: "Iraq Moratorium -- End the War -- End the Occupation."
The Recruiting Center closed down! The Hollywood event was held in solidarity with the recent Berkeley City Council's resolution saying that military recruiting for the war in Iraq was not welcome in Berkeley. (Photos to follow)
