Reports, Updates, Comments

This was a very lively day, about 40 folks, great enthusiasm from people driving by this busy intersection. We are determined to continue, as civilian Winter Soldiers, until our troops come home. Thanks, IM.--dharma syd.
Addendum, from On the Bus at Docudharma blog. (Go there for more photos:
The regular (and also very dedicated) group from the Strawberry Creek Lodge (a Senior residence) were out standing or sitting, on all 4 corners of a busy intersection in Berkeley. Some were there representing the Grey Panthers and of course, there is the Iraq Moratorium contingent (organized by our very own dharmasyd). Others have joined just from seeing us on the corner every month. There seem to be more new people coming out each time.

A little smaller than previously, but very spirited. "The Mourning Mothers," whom some will know as Women in Black, arrived in their marvelous costumes to make their poignant statement. We also had singing and musicians join us. And we're looking forward to May 16th, Moratorium Day #9.
