Won't you join us this month and increase our presence as we demonstrate against the Iraq War? In March, some first-time folks came to hold signs and declared that they'll be back in April with friends - It's energizing and enjoyable to act with others who share your desire for peace! If you have been thinking about how you could make a peaceful, non-violent personal statement against the war, this is a great activity...We stand in groups on the street corners at 6th and State holding signs for rush-hour commuters, as a reminder of the terrible human and financial costs of this war. Many, many of them respond with honks and waves!
WHERE- 6th and State (north side of the Capital Annex). HOW- Show up, grab one of our signs (or bring one of your own) and spend one hour working for peace. Hope you'll join us.
