Reports, Updates, Comments
On both April 18 and May 16 our Redgate affinity group and others commemorated the Iraq Moratorium on the main intersection in Amherst,MA. First we rang the nearby church bell at Grace Church 21 times to commemorate the dead in Iraq and then we had a card table with pens, "4000+" cards, and small leaflets explaining what we are doing and inviting people to join. In April we had 45 signers of the post card and in May 35, but we also had many conversations with people. In April we had a large peace sign and in May a smaller one. We plan to do the same action in June and to have a bigger sign.
