Neighborhood Peace Vigil. (Everybody welcome). Rain or shine. We have candles and signs for you, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. One issue focus--end the war in Iraq--support our troops and the Iraqi people by ending the war now. (Relating the cost of the war to the Federal, State, and City budget deficits is still part of our single issue focus). Cookies will be served.

Reports, Updates, Comments
Our June peace vigil marked not only the Summer Solstice, but also San Francisco’s warmest day of the year. We counted 31 attendees.
William, from Food Not Bombs, brought eggplant curry, pesto, and other wonderful food. He also ended the evening with an impressive anti-war poem. (We had at least four poets in attendance).

James and Ralph provided live music.

We were again happy to see new faces along with returning peace advocates.
