To The Editor:
As the war in Iraq drags on, two-thirds of the American people say it was a mistake, and they want to end and bring the troops home.
No one in Washington seems to be listening.
That's why I've decided to take part in the Iraq Moratorium, which asks people to take some action on the Third Friday of every month to show that they want the war to end.
It can be as simple as wearing a button or armband or writing a letter to Congress. But we've all got to do something to stop it. If you Google "Iraq Moratorium" or go to their web site at www.IraqMoratorium.org, you'll find a lot of ideas.
In Our Town, there will be a vigil from 5 to 6 p.m. in front of the courthouse on the next Iraq Moratorium Day, Dec. 21. Anyone is welcome to join.
It's got to stop, and we've got to stop it.
