Replace Your Home Page With A Moratorium Page Every Third Friday

CJ, whose California-based businesses provide data services to large companies and to firms in construction, designed a page promoting the Iraq Moratorium and posted it as the homepage on his two company websites on Moratorium Day #1. He plans to do it the Third Friday of every month until the war is over and the troops are home! You can download his page from our tools section with his permission and encouragement (or you can design one yourself) to post as a temporary homepage on your own business or personal website on each Third Friday.

CJ points out that the more sites which take this idea up, the bigger the impact becomes:

• Yes, I would like to work with many others who want to also replace their home pages. For each person who replaces their home page I would like them to contact 10 others and ask them to replace their homepages too each month and so on. In theory, we could grow until the Net shuts down on the 3rd Friday of each month and only points to the iraqmoratorium.org home page.
• Will that finally happen? I don't know… Would I like to try to make it happen with the help of others? You betcha… and the nice thing about it is that it does not take an arm and a leg to do this but is very impactful and noticeable…
• Shut the net down... Stop Business As Usual… I replace my Home page from 12:01 AM Friday morning to 12:01 AM Saturday morning on both my websites (www.enflow.com, www.ebuildingpermits.com).
